A Liverpool legend teaching today's players about skincare - football as the unlikely entry point for a conversation guys usually skip.

 

THE BRIEF: Leveraging Nivea's partnership with Liverpool FC for the second time, we brought in a club legend to teach the current players the technique and tricks of skincare in a way that would actually make them care.

 

MY TAKE: A brand partnership designed to normalise skincare for men, using football as the entry point so the messaging felt natural rather than forced - reaching the right audience on their own terms. Edited the footage to feel more like a sporting moment than a skincare ad, using transitions and motion graphics to highlight key beats and keep the energy high throughout. Using graphics to land the product messaging without it ever feeling like an interruption.
